How to make beef tikka?

Here’s the recipe: just follow these simple steps to make beef tikka at home. (Chicken Shashlik Recipe)



Cut 800 grams of lean steak meat into bite-sized pieces. 

3 cardamoms, green. 

6 black peppercorns, whole. 

1 1/2 pound cinnamon. 

6 garlic cloves. 

Ginger, 3/4 inch.

3/4 teaspoon fenugreek seeds, steeped in boiling water. 

1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice. 

Natural yogurt, 100 g. 

500-gram passata. 

Sour cream, 60 mL. 

200 g butter, salted. 

Season with salt to taste. 


Preheat the oven to 200 °C. Dry roast the cardamom, black pepper, cinnamon and cloves on a baking sheet for about 10 minutes. Blend with ginger and garlic in a blender. Blend with a little water to make a smooth paste.

Mix meat, paste, lemon juice and yogurt in a bowl. After mixing well, keep it aside for two hours.

Bake on baking sheet for 10 to 15 minutes.

In a large pan, heat the pasta over medium heat. Combine sour cream and butter in a mixing bowl. When the butter is melted, add the cooked meat and all its juices to the pan. Add fenugreek seeds and boiling water to the fenugreek.
